Congratulations to Dr. Pat Mullen, 2012 recipient of the Society for Public Health Education’s (SOPHE) Mentoring Award. “This award recognizes individuals who have provided excellence in mentorship to health educators in their preparation, performance, and practice, and who have served to successfully bridge the domains of practice and research.”
Dr. Schick is an assistant professor in the Division of Management, Policy and Community Health at The University of Texas School of Public Health.
Congratulations to Dr. Susan Tortolero for receiving The University of Texas System Board of Regents’ highest honor in recognition of her performance in the classroom. The Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Awards (ROTA) recognizes faculty members at UT System institutions who have demonstrated dedication to innovation and advancing excellence.
Findings support the importance of addressing the physical and social environment when planning community-level interventions to reduce child behavior problems.
