NIOSH ERC 19th Annual Pilot Projects Research Symposium

The Southwest Center for Occupational and Environmental Health will host the NIOSH ERC 19th Annual Pilot Projects Research Symposium on June 22 from 12-3:45 p.m. CDT in the Houston campus’s RAS Building, room E-605.

Robert D. Daniels, Ph.D., will give a keynote address titled, “Cancer in the fire service, an overview of completed research.”

Daniels has been with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) since 2001. He is the NIOSH liaison to the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) for the World Trade Center Health Program. The target audience for the event includes physicians, nurses, safety professionals, industrial hygienists, epidemiologists and graduate students involved in occupational safety and health.
