Radium Girls: a conversation with author Kate Moore

Radium Girls bookThe Southwest Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (SWCOEH) at UTHealth School of Public Health in Houston and Southwest Center for Agricultural Health, Injury Prevention and Education at UT Health Northeast present this event in "recognition of the American women from the Roaring Twenties who were poisoned by their work and courageously fought for justice, and who inspired the New York Times bestselling book The Radium Girls by Kate Moore." The event will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. CDT in the RAS Building Auditorium, 1200 Pressler St.. Author Kate Moore will be available to sign copies of her book.

SWCOEH is celebrating its 40th year as one of the first established and continuously funded NIOSH Education and Research Centers in the country. To celebrate its long-term success in training and research in occupational safety and health, this is one of multiple 40th anniversary celebration events.
