UTHealth School of Public Health was featured in the following media stories recently.

Research by Katelyn Jetelina, PhD, MPH, about violent injuries in school children was published in an article in the Houston Chronicle.

The ASPPH Friday Letter ran a story about two new multimillion-dollar grants awarded to the Michael & Susan Dell Center for Healthy Living, funding efforts to combat childhood obesity.

Wesley McWhorter, MS, RD, provided written responses to Community Health magazine about the best foods for your body type. He was also interviewed by a Shape reporter about ways to eat chayote, a type of squash, and its nutritional benefits.

Research by Marcia Otto, PhD, about the effect of dairy fats on health was included in a Runner's World article. The story was also picked up by The Dairy Times.
