Catherine Troisi, PhD, MS, reminded FOX 26 News viewers about the importance of vaccinating children against measles after news broke about five cases reported in the Greater Houston area.

Kelley Pettee Gabriel, PhD, MS, and Gregory Knell, PhD, were quoted in a Dallas Morning News article about research showing most teens aren't meeting national guidelines for sleep, physical activity, and screen time. Knell was also quoted in Reuters, MedPageToday, HealthDay, and DoctorsLounge stories. The HealthDay notice, also featured in Physician's Briefing, was picked up by six media outlets including U.S. News & World Report and Drugs.com.

Research by Katelyn Jetelina, PhD on the alarming numbers of violent injuries among schoolchildren was featured in an article that ran in the ASPPH Friday Letter.
