Student Lauren Leining was featured in the Journal of Public Health Management and Practice in a story titled, “Students who rocked public health 2017� for her work with the Student Epidemic Intelligence Society (SEIS) at UTHealth School of Public Health and its response to Hurricane Harvey. In a KPRC-TV Channel 2 story, Shreela Sharma, Ph.D., R.D., discussed popular unhealthy snacks that could be hampering your weight loss efforts. She also appeared in a commercial on KHOU-TV Channel 11 about the partnership between the nonprofit Brighter Bites and Target.

School of Public Health research on HPV risk factors was included in a Huffington Post news roundup that linked to a study published in the Journal of Infectious Disease.
