UTHealth School of Public Health was featured in the following media stories recently.

Cecilia Cazaban, M.D., Dr.P.H., was scheduled to be interviewed by a reporter from ProPublica about Houston Endowment's Community Plan regarding maternal morbidity in Harris County.

The Atlantic hurricane season starts Friday and Robert Emery, Dr.P.H., did a live interview on KPRC Radio's Fifty+ show to get listeners ready. He also was quoted in a story in E&E News about how an early warning system helped to protect UTHealth's buildings from major flood damage in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

New research by James Langabeer, Ph.D., M.B.A., on what hospital executives spend their time on appeared in Becker's Hospital Review.

Melissa Peskin, Ph.D., was featured in the ASPPH news for having an “Abstract of Distinction” selected by the Society for Prevention Research.
