NewsUTHealth School of Public Health was featured in the following media stories recently.

UTHealth's debut participation in the 2018 Houston Pride Parade, whose participation was spearheaded by outREACH student organization at UTHealth School of Public Health, was included in video posts on media outlets including KTRK-TV Channel 13. The School of Public Health was included in a Community Impact Newspaper Katy story about reasons for the rising maternal morbidity rates in Harris County.

Paula Stigler-Granados, PhD, was quoted in a Corpus Christi Caller-Times story about the publication of a new guide she led to increase awareness of the bugs that transfer Chagas disease. The Texas Standard interviewed her on the same topic while Infection Control Today, and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension's newsletter picked up the news release.
