Lu Ann Aday, Ph.D. the Lorne D. Bain Distinguished Professor Emerita in Public Health and Medicine at UTHealth School of Public Health, was featured in a news story from Purdue University (of which she is an alumna) for having endowed Purdue’s most prestigious research award in the humanities and social sciences.

TMC News published a story about a $3.1 NIH grant awarded to Craig Hanis, Ph.D., to study how gut bacteria relates to diabetes in Starr County.

Laura McKieran, Dr.P.H., was featured in the ASPPH news for her work on the Viz-a-lyzer, a tool developed through research at UTHealth School of Public Health in San Antonio and Community Information Now to help visually explore and analyze Bexar County demographic data.

In this month's issue of TMC Pulse, dietetic intern Rachael Vega discussed the health benefits of cranberries and how to better incorporate them in your diet.
