NewsUTHealth School of Public Health was featured in the following media stories recently.

David Douphrate, PhD, MPT, MBA, was quoted in a report by NPR's food program The Salt about how robotics are being used to improve worker safety in the cattle industry. The report was picked up by eight regional NPR stations including GPB in Georgia, MPRNews in Minnesota, and NHPR in New Hampshire.

Melissa Harrell, PhD, MPH, was interviewed by an Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reporter about the recent rise in e-cigarette usage among teenagers and how this relates to her research revealing an alarming increase in first-time smoking among young adults.

Marcia Otto, PhD, provided written responses to Women's Health about her research, which revealed eating a varied diet might not be very healthy.

For a story about how to survive the holidays with healthy eating, Shannon Weston, RD, MPH, was interviewed by a Houston Chronicle community news reporter.
