NewsUTHealth School of Public Health was featured in the following media stories recently.

School of Dentistry dean, John Valenza, DDS, along with Laura S. Moore, MEd, RD, director of the School of Public Health Nourish Program, and Clarissa Ferris, a dietetic intern on rotation at the School of Public Health, were quoted in a Dentistry Today story about the new culinary dentistry program created by both schools. The story was also featured in the ASPPH News.

Research by Marcia Otto, PhD, was quoted in a Newsweek story about a new study revealing fermented dairy products may reduce risk of heart disease.

Wesley McWhorter, MS, RD, was interviewed by a Dentistry Today reporter about the new culinary dentistry program created by the School of Public Health and School of Dentistry.
