NewsUTHealth School of Public Health was featured in the following media stories recently.

UTHealth students from the Student Epidemic Intelligence Society were featured in the ASPPH news for their relief efforts after Hurricane Harvey.

The Tyler Morning Telegraph reported on a webinar hosted by Deanna Hoelscher, Ph.D., R.D., about initial results from the School Physical Activity and Nutrition survey, which involved 280 schools in 70 school districts statewide.

Joseph McCormick, M.D., was interviewed by KURV Radio in the Rio Grande Valley about the serious health care issues that impact people and businesses in the region. The interview was reported by the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service.

TMC News is working on a feature story about the Center for Precision Health. Earlier this week, a writer interviewed Zhongming Zhao, Ph.D., who has a joint appointment between UTHealth School of Biomedical Informatics and the School of Public Health.
