UTHealth School of Public Health has an outstanding new student scholarship program for selected incoming students. The program is open to resident and non-resident students who submit their applications by the scholarship deadline. Recipients of the scholarship may receive up to $1,000 (master's level students) and up to $5,000 (doctoral level students) to cover costs associated with tuition and fees for their first calendar year of study at UTHealth School of Public Health (total of 3 semesters). The funds will be paid directly to the Office of the Registrar and the student will be responsible for the remaining tuition and fees above and beyond the awarded scholarship. Please note that competitive new student scholarships of $1,000 or more may make students eligible for in-state tuition.

This program is administered by the UTHealth School of Public Health Admissions Committee. The award is based solely on merit and is designed to assist in the recruitment of outstanding students to our school. This scholarship award is made at the time of admissions and there is no application for this award.
