Benaye is a human services professional with 20+ years’ experience in program development and implementation within community-based organizations. She has worked to promote and facilitate the coordinated delivery of community health and social services on school campuses. Benaye has worked with Communities In Schools, Inc. for eight years, where she served both locally and nationally as Sr. Project Director and Training/Replication Specialist. Benaye worked with the Cornerstone Consulting Group, where she assisted with the Teen Outreach Program (TOP) replication project. Her responsibilities included product development, dissemination and technical assistance/support to over 30 communities around the nation in order to reduce teen pregnancy. She also facilitated Cornerstone’s Community Engagement Process (CEP). She is currently working with The University of Texas Prevention Research Center to coordinate the training and technical assistance efforts for It’s Your Game…Keep It Real, Pregnancy and STI Prevention Curriculum and develop the UTPRC Training Center whose aim to become the region’s service center for adolescent sexual health education and training.
