Use the CHAMPSS Progress bar on the right to see where your district is in the process. The changes in colors along the bar shows you level of completion for the step:

  • Green indicates you have completed the step
  • Yellow indicates you have accomplished some tasks, but might benefit from additional work on that step

PRIORITIZE refers to making sexual health education a priority for your district.
ASSESS refers to understanding your district’s population, needs, and resources.
SELECT refers to identifying an evidence-based sexual health education program that fits your district’s population, needs, and resources.
APPROVE refers to getting your district’s Board of Trustees (or school board) to approve an evidence-based sexual health education program for use.
PREPARE refers to planning for complete and successful implementation of an approved evidence-based sexual health education program.
