As part of UTHealth’s commitment to cultivating an inclusive culture, the Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity invites you to join us for the inaugural meeting of the disABILITY, Accessibility, and Inclusion Network, an employee and student resource group for people with disabilities and their allies.
The focus of the network is to actively collaborate with employees and students to continuously develop innovative ways to ensure accessibility, and to further cultivate a respectful and accountable culture within the university community.
To ensure university community members at all locations can participate, the network will hold virtual bimonthly meetings. Activities of the network will include: group discussions regarding personal and shared experiences; opportunities to enhance accessibility; social, educational, and volunteer events; and engaging and educating the broader university community.
The network’s first meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, on Webex.
We would love to hear from you and look forward to building our network together!
