School of Public Health accreditation

The UTHealth School of Public Health has been continuously accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) since 1969. You may review our most recent self-study report submitted to CEPH.

Program-level accreditations

The Dietetic Internship is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

The Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. 

The master’s level Healthcare Management curriculum is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). 

The master’s-level Industrial Hygiene curriculum is accredited by the Applied and Natural Science Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org. 

University accreditation

The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, doctoral, and professional degrees. Degree-granting institutions also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
