Reducing the skills gap in public health

The Library & Graduate Communication Center at UTHealth School of Public Health integrates Library Services and Writing Support Services in a full-service learning, research, and project space to reduce the skills gap in public health. This physical space combines a library, a writing center, and a student lounge to empower students to direct their own learning by offering them a place where they can meet, study, and use shared equipment and resources. Students, faculty, and staff thus have access to a thriving academic health environment replete with library information and writing-instruction resources and services to help them meet their learning, teaching, and research goals.
