About
Bryan Schneider, DHA, FACHE, FACMPE brings a diverse array of clinical and healthcare leadership and management experience. In his work in hospital and medical group practice operations over the past two decades, he has led multicultural and multidisciplinary healthcare professional teams in both academic and private health care systems. In these roles, he has grown clinical practices and community outreach, established research and industry partnerships and led strategic planning for organizational development. He has been commended as a strong leader in these roles and as a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard, as Commander of the 193rd Special Operations Medical Group. He previously served as a hospital Chief Executive Officer, an academic health system Associate Vice-President, and most recently as Chief Executive Officer for a specialty care organization overseeing a system of clinics and surgical facilities throughout the Houston metropolitan area. In addition to Bryan’s organization leadership experience, he has held multiple academic teaching appointments, which currently include his serving as associate professor in the Department of Management, Policy, and Community Health (MPACH) at the University of Texas, Health Science Center, School of Public Health. Bryan earned both a Doctor of Healthcare Administration (DHA) and Master of Science in Health Administration degrees from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science from Wayland Baptist University. He is also a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE).
