Greater Plains Collaborative Optimizing Infrastructure for Conducting Patient-Centered Outcomes Research.

Project Overview

The Greater Plains Collaborative (GPC) is a network of leading medical centers across the central United States that are committed to improving healthcare delivery through the support of ongoing research, adoption of evidence-based practices, and active research dissemination. The GPC helps provide the structure to develop and support diverse research with meaningful patient involvement. In addition to a standing Patient Advisory Council, GPC uses the Rapid Patient and Community Engagement (PACE) platform, which are one-hour facilitated discussions of a project during which patient participants provides their insights, questions, and recommendations.

This project is funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute.
