This webinar is part of a seminar series presented by the Institute for Implementation Science (IIS), co-hosted by the Michael & Susan Dell Center for Healthy Living.

Speaker: Rinad Beidas, PhD

Objectives:

  • Understand the concept of the research-to-practice gap and the science of implementation
  • Explore the principles of behavioral economics and how they provide insight into clinical decision-making within the context of the research-to-practice gap
  • Apply the intersection of implementation science and behavioral economics using examples from NIH funded research in cancer, cardiovascular disease, injury prevention, and behavioral health
