About
I had my pre-doctoral training in electrical engineering and computer science with focuses on machine learning and data mining and post-doctoral training in genomics and human genetics. My experiences in data science helped me to develop effective and efficient methods and tools for large-scale sequencing data. I have actively participated in various multi-institutional genetic studies: 1) to develop efficient and effective methods suitable for large-scale genomic data; 2) to understand genetic architecture and biology of common and complex traits with genomic and multi-omics information. The central objective of my research is integrating massive and heterogeneous information from multiple high-throughput data sources to understand the genetic architecture and biological underpinnings of common and complex traits.
