This is an evaluation of the Healthy Zone Schools program (, which targets childhood obesity by promoting physical activity and nutrition in schools. The program was developed by the Cooper Institute and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. The program supports schools by helping them create sustainable health promoting environments that support physical activity, healthy eating, and other health behaviors.
