Biography
Dr. Walker received his Masters in Exercise Science from the University of Connecticut, his PhD in Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Public Health, and an NCI Cancer Education and Career Development Program Post-doctoral fellowship at UTHealth School of Public Health.

Healthy Zone Schools Evaluation
This is an evaluation of the Healthy Zone Schools program, which targets childhood obesity by promoting physical activity and nutrition in schools.
Implementation of Evidence-based Interventions to Increase Colorectal Cancer Screening in Texas Federally Qualified Health Centers
The goal of this program is to increase Colorectal Cancer Screening through evidence-based interventions in Federally Qualified Health Centers to ultimately reduce Colorectal Cancer and related health disparities among African Americans and Hispanics.
