Courses are offered in a hybrid format, meeting online and in-person, altering Friday evenings and Saturdays at the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation building. The schedule and flexibility are offered to meet the needs of working professionals. The MPH program requires students to complete 45 credit hours as detailed in the Fall 2024 to Summer 2025 MPH Healthcare Management Degree Planner.

Students can complete their degree in as soon as 20 months.

An MPH for leaders

The MPH in Healthcare Management is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Healthcare Management (CAHME) program, one of only three CAHME-accredited MPH programs in the U.S.

The program offered in El Paso is a coveted degree that demonstrates a mastery of public health competencies and skills, such as abilities in analysis, communication, strategy, and financial expertise to impact public health implementation and policy positively. Professionals with this degree are sought after to lead research institutions, government agencies, hospitals, clinics, and nonprofits.
