Come join us on book launch day of When Are We Going to Teach Health? for a special presentation and Q&A with the author, Duncan Van Dusen, Founder & CEO of CATCH Global Foundation and UTHealth School of Public Health Austin campus alumni.

Teaching health in K-12 schools has never been more vital than it is now, and this important new book addresses WHY health belongs in schools, WHAT makes teaching health effective, and HOW educators and parents can implement proven strategies. The book contains many examples and case studies and the subject of one of the case studies, Sabina Garrett of Altus Public Schools, will share her story of coordinating district and USDA resources to keep students fed during COVID-19 school closures.
