Event Description

The Community Health Initiated Research Partnership (CHIRP) Fellowship Awards support collaborative research between faculty and local organizations to address community health needs. The next grant submission deadline will be in January 2026!

Take advantage of our FREE webinar series to prepare not only your CHIRP submission, but any community engagement grant proposal you may be working on or interested in.

Who should attend?

Anyone with a research or clinical faculty appointment* at the following CCTS institutions who is interested in learning more about community engagement grants and proposals:

  • UTHealth Houston (including the School of Public Health)
  • The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center
  • UT Tyler Health Science Center
  • UT Rio Grande Valley
  • Rice University
  • Texas Tech Health El Paso

*Students and postdoctoral fellows may also apply for the CHIRP Award, but a faculty member is required to be the principal investigator.
