About
Dr. Liu is trained as an epidemiologist with a focus on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD), social determinants of health, and chronic disease in vulnerable populations. She graduated with Ph.D in Population Health Sciences from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2022 with a focus on the epidemiology of aging. In addition to examining the social and environmental determinants of ADRD, she aims to identify strategies for healthy aging among high-risk populations who live in socioeconomically deprived areas with concurrently high environmental risk. To this end, Dr. Liu is expanding her research to risk factors for cognitive decline in border communities.
