What is the purpose of this tool?
This Facts & Tips Sheet serves as a guide for identifying existing sexual health education policies and programs in your school district. This tool will help you identify the specific policies regarding sexual health programs, which programs are already approved for instruction and which programs are currently being implemented.
Who should receive this tool?
This document may be printed and distributed to School Health Advisory Council members, principals, teachers, school health coordinators and anyone participating in the selection of your district’s sexual health curriculum to ensure it meets district criteria.
