Interview GuideWhat is the purpose of this tool?
This template can be a useful tool in gauging support for sexual health education from key stakeholders through the use of in-depth interviews. Conducting interviews can be particularly helpful in collecting information that might not otherwise be gathered via the needs assessment or parent poll. The tool provides guidance on how to prepare for and conduct interviews with key stakeholders and includes a sample interview guide with questions to ask. Recommendations for using findings are also provided along with suggestions on other tools that may help strengthen support for sexual health education.
Who should use this tool?
SHAC leaders, district coordinators, and any other district leaders involved in assessing community needs and resources may use this tool to conduct interviews with parents, school/district staff, and community members.
