UTHealth School of Public Health is the oldest and largest graduate education and research institution dedicated to advancing population health in the state of Texas. We are a member school of the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), the most comprehensive academic health center in the University of Texas System*, and have campuses in Austin, Brownsville, Dallas, El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio.

Austin campus
The Austin campus is located in the heart of Austin, just a few blocks away from The University of Texas at Austin and the UT Austin Dell Medical School.
Faculty members include international experts in health promotion, epidemiology, tobacco, physical activity promotion, food systems and food insecurity.
Home to the Michael and Susan Dell Center for Healthy Living, which aims to advance health and healthy living for children and families.

Brownsville campus
The Brownsville campus, founded in 2001, is the first university-supported public health research presence in the Rio Grande Valley.
Faculty members include nationally-renowned virus hunters, experts in Hispanic health, and chronic diseases.
Home to the Hispanic Health Research Center, whose research has national implications for the future of population health, as communities in the Valley represent the anticipated future demographics of the US.

Dallas campus
Located in Southwestern Medical District, the Dallas campus enables students to explore the relationship between healthcare services and community health outcomes.
Faculty members include trailblazers in science communication, cancer, violence, and maternal and child health.
Home to the Center for Pediatric Population Health, a unique collaboration between the school and the Children’s Health System of Texas, the largest pediatric health care system in North Texas.

The El Paso campus is located less than a mile from the US-Mexico border, and is a leader in border health research.
Faculty members are prominent figures in the El Paso community, working in water safety, disaster and crisis management, and promoting healthy lifestyles through athletics.
El Paso campus is a residential member of the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation, a hub of innovation for the Paso del Norte region’s health care and biomedical industries.

Houston campus
As a member institution of the Texas Medical Center, the world's largest medical center, the Houston campus connects our students and faculty at all of our campuses to an extensive network of healthcare systems and organizations.
Faculty members at the Houston campus represent expertise across all disciplines of public health.
Home to eight research centers, the Houston campus is facilitating all types of research, from school-based intervention to data collection and analysis.

San Antonio campus
Our San Antonio campus is the only academic institution in the city offering graduate programs in public health.
Faculty members have specializations in worker safety, community health for vulnerable populations, and vaccine hesitancy.
The San Antonio campus powers Community Information Now (CI:Now), a nonprofit local data intermediary that provides several different kinds of data support to organizations and collaboratives in Bexar and 11 surrounding counties.
