Melisa P. Danho is an instructor and Registered Dietitian with experience in individual and group nutrition counseling and education, program and curriculum development, and program implementation. Her professional interests include culinary medicine, food as medicine, nutrition security, community health practice, maternal and child health and physical activity. She also works to raise awareness among medical professionals, lawmakers and the general public about the role dietitians play in helping promote wellness and prevent and manage illness. She advocates for building an understanding surrounding policies that impact the nutritional status and quality of life.
