Heather Essigmann, PhD, MPH is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Epidemiology. Her research interests include immunology, infectious diseases, host-pathogen interactions in the context of chronic disease like diabetes as well as topics in public health education. She's taught all 4 core MPH Epidemiology courses, with a special focus on Introduction to Epidemiology and Field Methods in Epidemiology.
