I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Behavioral Science at UTHealth Austin. My research focuses on pediatric obesity prevention, with an emphasis on the interconnected roles of physical activity, sleep, and diet in promoting child health. I specialize in secondary data analysis and community-engaged approaches to better understand behavioral and environmental determinants of health. Through my work, I aim to address health disparities and advance equitable, evidence-based interventions that improve the well-being of children and families.
