What is the purpose of this tool?

This Facts & Tips Sheet provides 10 strategies for communicating messages effectively with various audiences. While these strategies were identified for framing messages about adolescent sexual health, they are universal and can be used for communication about any potentially controversial topic.

One of the most important components of getting others on board is to provide clear messages to which they are willing to listen and act accordingly. The way you deliver your message should be compelling and meaningful, but also alleviate fears so that your audience is open to receiving the message.
