UTHealth Houston's All for Them vaccination project is finding new ways to connect with teens and young adults to spark interest in immunization clinics. At Goose Creek CISD, team members connect one-on-one with high school students to raise awareness about health topics, cancer awareness, and careers in public health.

The Healthy Liver/Hígado Sano Study is pilot testing a behavioral lifestyle intervention for Hispanic adults with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The project team has partnered with Legacy Community Health in Houston to deliver a culturally tailored intervention to a group of patients with NAFLD.

UTHealth Houston partner Ellis County Coalition for Health Options provides comprehensive, affordable healthcare services to underserved communities in Ellis County, Texas. The faith-based, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is collaborating with The Center for Health Promotion and Prevention Research (CHPPR) to promote cardiovascular health among patients by providing the Healthy Heart Ambassador program (HHA).

CHPPR and Epilepsy Foundation Texas are testing a web-based epilepsy management support tool as a Community Health Worker delivered intervention in clinics. Health workers can use the tool to support patients' epilepsy self-management while also providing linkage to additional services.
