ABOUT X-CORE
OVERVIEW
Welcome to Code of Respect, or X-CoRe for short. X-CoRe is an evidence-informed multi-component program to prevent sexual harassment and sexual assault among active-duty Airmen. It was developed by researchers at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) School of Public Health. The program consists of 10 brief digital modules optimized for use on a mobile phone and a social marketing campaign to target cultural norms.
ABOUT OUR TEAM
Code of Respect (X-CoRe) was developed by behavioral scientists specializing in sexual health, prevention of risk behaviors, behavior change theories, military populations, and intervention development and evaluation.

How long does it take to complete X-CoRe?
If you are assigned to receive X-CoRe, we suggest you complete one ten-minute module per day for 10 days, anytime during your off-duty hours. This means you would complete the program in about a week and a half. Easy, right? Of course, if you love it, you could complete it all at once! Remember, you can use any device that connects to Wi-Fi.
-
The program is not loading properly. What can I do?
Try clearing your browser cache and cookies or logging in from a different browser or device. If the problem continues, please email us at codeofrespect@uth.tmc.edu.

Continue this process until you have completed all the required modules. You can also log out if you wish to complete the next module at a different time (recommended if you’re using a public device).
If you’re using your phone:
- IOS (iPhone) or Android device: At the end of each module, you will be prompted to close the browser window. If you want to move on to the next module right away, click the back button to be redirected to the course catalog screen, where you can select the next module you wish to complete.
