Objectives

The Fleming Center for Healthcare Management is dedicated to developing the next generation of healthcare leaders through research, education, and hands-on professional training. Our research focuses on advancing the fields of healthcare leadership, organizational strategy, health system management, quality improvement, and the integration of emerging technologies such as AI within healthcare operations. We aim to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and effectiveness of health professionals through rigorous academic study, data-driven insights, and applied projects with healthcare organizations.

Our work emphasizes improving leadership capacity, enhancing organizational performance, and preparing professionals to navigate evolving challenges in health systems. The center also prioritizes interdisciplinary collaboration, real-world experiential learning, and evidence-based approaches to improving care delivery. Through education, scholarship, and community partnerships, we support the development of innovative and ethical leaders equipped to positively impact the healthcare environment.

With experience across clinical, academic, and administrative settings, she specializes in leadership development, strategic management, and workforce advancement. Dr. Raya is committed to preparing future healthcare leaders through innovative programs, mentorship, and applied professional training.
