About
Dr. Chuang received her DrPH in Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Public Health. Her research interests center around promoting behavioral nutrition and oral health for children and their families, teacher wellness, and non-medical drivers of health. Her current research includes examining the effects of school-based programs in reducing children’s dental caries incidence, promoting dietary quality among under-resourced children and their families, and promoting teachers’ wellness; and evaluating the impacts of food prescription programs on participants’ behavioral and health-related outcomes.
