Trained as a community psychologist, I maintain expertise in the implementation and evaluation of community-engaged interventions targeting mental and behavioral health in low-income, minority populations. In particular, I have active lines of research with community coalitions for substance use prevention, mental health peer-led interventions, and community health workers addressing Hispanic health disparities.
