About the data
Real-time data is messy and we see the ramifications of this in a few of our graphs. The interpretations of this data should be considered in light of several limitations. Briefly,
- Data source: Northeast Texas Public Health District (NET Health)
- NET Health covers disease surveillance for the following 7 counties: Anderson, Gregg, Henderson, Rains, Smith, Van Zandt, and Wood
- All values of data are where values are known.
- For all exposure types and sources, “Likely Known” does not mean definitely known, but is based on the review of the medical record and reports from contact tracing calls.
- Some community spread will likely be considered “close contact” spread, but the data is not currently differentiated between that breakdown.
