2016 HEAL: Early Child Nutrition Education Program (ECNEP)

The Community Action Agency of Southern New Mexico (CAASNM) will establish an early, positive self-orientation towards HEAL and increase asking behaviors for healthy foods and physical activity by children ages 3-5 in licensed daycare programs across Doña Ana County, New Mexico over a 12 month period.

To increase fruit and vegetable consumption among children ages 3-5 years by use of the HOP’N Home curriculum in child care centers in Doña Ana County, NM.
