Kevin Lanza, PhD, an Assistant Professor for the SWCOEH, appeared on MSNBC's Yasmin Vossoughian Reports on July 16, 2023 to discuss the impact of record high temperatures on the body. Dr. Lanza's research explores the relations between the environment, health behaviors, and health through an equity lens, with a focus on extreme heat and physical activity of children and other heat-sensitive populations.
