About
Dr. Tamí-Maury is an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) in the Department of Epidemiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHealth) at Houston School of Public Health (SPH). She also holds an adjunct appointment at UTHealth SPH Department of Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences. Her work focuses on two primary areas: (1) developing innovative cancer prevention and control strategies for understudied populations, and (2) designing digital-based interventions and educational programs tailored for health care providers. Dr. Tamí-Maury leads the Health Equity Research Group (HERG), where she mentors students and early-career researchers. Her mentees actively contribute to ongoing projects and have the opportunity to co-author conference presentations, posters, and peer-reviewed publications.
