About
I am an implementation scientist focused on designing, implementing, and evaluating interventions that improve health and reduce disparities, particularly among historically marginalized populations. I co-lead CoLab: Community, Connection, and Collaboration, a research team committed to programs, services, and research in substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery support services. Our research centers individuals with lived experience. In the past, I have led studies examining access to women's health services in rural Uganda, cervical cancer screening among women with refugee status, and cancer care delivery for women living with HIV. Prior to academia, I worked for a social justice organization in Brooklyn, New York.
