Our degrees and certificate programs are designed with our students in mind—to be flexible for full-time and part-time students throughout Texas and the United States. Regardless of your location or the modality of your program, all students are welcome at our physical spaces in Austin, Brownsville, Dallas, El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio. Students have access to resources, expertise, faculty, and research opportunities across all six Texas locations.

Master of Science
The MS in Biostatistics and Data Science is a minimum of 36 semester credit hours and is generally a two-year program for full-time students. Training is offered in research design, basic statistical theory, data analysis, computer applications, and statistical consultation. The program emphasizes fundamental statistical approach and methods and computational skills and provides the basis for doctoral level biostatistical studies.
Doctor of Philosophy
The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, a minimum of 48 semester credit hours, in a public health discipline represents outstanding scholarly achievement and signifies a capacity for independent study.
