Our school's research centers have a long history of working with communities to create the tools, programs and information that lead to healthier lives. The school is home to 17 research centers spanning a wide range of research interests, and over 20 research labs led by faculty. Students are encouraged to engage with research opportunities based on their interests, academic and career aspirations.

Identify, integrate and coordinate the expertise and resources in biostatistics, informatics and computational/quantitative data sciences to support biomedical and health science research and practice.

Center for Spatial-Temporal Modeling for Applications in Population Sciences

Pioneering the use of spatial-temporal data science to uncover hidden patterns in public health data, transcending disciplinary boundaries, and facilitating the translation of insights into impactful public health interventions.

Center for Big Data in Health Sciences

Developing and promoting innovative data science technologies that harness Big Data to improve the health of the people of Texas, the nation and the world.
