Bhojani elected VP of ACOEM

Faiyaz Bhojani, MD, DrPH, professor for the Southwest Center for Occupational and Environmental Health at UTHealth Houston, was elected Vice President of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM).
The election results, announced in January, named the ACOEM Board of Directors 2025-26 Leadership Team, which includes 2025 President Laura G. Gillis, MD, MPH, FACOEM and 2025 President-Elect Jill Rosenthal, MD, MPH, MA, FACOEM. Dr. Bhojani will serve a three-year term.
"It is an honor to be elected ACOEM Vice President," said Dr. Bhojani. "Protecting worker health is more vital than ever, and I look forward to collaborating with colleagues to shape ACOEM's future and advance worker health and safety."

His leadership will benefit not only ACOEM, but workers and workplaces across the country.”
