Docside Clinic Scholars Program:
We’re excited to announce a new educational & research opportunity, which can count towards your MPH practicum, TWH Field Experience, or Dissertation/Independent Research hours. In partnership with the PEOPLE Centered Lab and Southwest Center for Occupational & Environmental Health, and through funding from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, we are offering a unique educational experience that brings students face-to-face with community-based public health practice (masters) and community-based participatory research (doctoral). The grant provides funding for mileage to-and-from our Docside Clinics, as well as mentored training in community-based initiatives. There are two MPH positions and one doctoral position available per semester. For more information, please fill out the form below.
