Turkey Burger

Turkey Burger

Serving Size

Serving: 6 Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • ½ onion, diced 
  • 1 large egg 
  • 1 garlic clove, minced 
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh oregano or ¼ teaspoon dried oregano 
  • ¼ teaspoon minced fresh thyme or teaspoon dried thyme 
  • ¼ teaspoon salt 
  • 1 tablespoon canola oi

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix all the ingredients except the canola oil.
  2. Shape into patties. Patties should be packed tightly but try not to overwork the mixture.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, heat the oil.
  4. Add the patties and cook until just done, turning once while cooking. Cook about 4 minutes per side for medium-well.

Serve with your favorite burger toppings or a spread.
